Uzbekistan planning AI, data center projects costing $8 bln

TASHKENT. Sept 21 (Interfax) - Uzbekistan is planning to implement six projects costing $8 billion overall in the Karakalpakstan region in the northwest of the country, in a special zone built for the development of artificial intelligence (AI) and data centers, the Uzbek president's website says.
